Mareike was born in Kassel, Germany in 1998. She received her bachelors degree in General Engineering science at the Technical University of Hamburg. Following her masters degree in Electrical Engineering at the same university, she spend eight months at the University of Waterloo in Canada. For her Master Thesis she joined CERN in Geneva and did research about missing energy analysis in a X-Band facility.
In March 2024 she joined MS3 as a PhD Candidate with the research focus on Vital Sign detection and human activity using radar.
