Biography

Tarik Kazaz was a PhD student in CAS, working on the SuperGPS project. Tarik Kazaz received his MSc degree with honors in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sarajevo. He gained industry experience working as a Radio Access Network Engineer at BH Mobile, while at the same time he gained research experience while working as a part-time teaching assistant at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo and via several research projects during his work at the Department of Information Technology (INTEC) at Ghent University. Within this department, he was also appointed at the iMinds and afterwards IMEC research institutes, where he was actively involved and contributed to the H2020 research projects WISHFUL and ORCA.

At TU Delft, his research was in relation to the SuperGPS project. He defended his thesis in June 2022.

His main research interests include signal processing for communications, wireless communications, software defined radio, cognitive radio and hardware-software co-design for wireless communications and future networks.
