MSc B. Lafuente Alcazar

Expertise: Hardware design of machine learning models for neural interfaces.

Beatriz was born in Valencia, Spain, in 2000. She completed her BSc in biomedical engineering at Universitat Politècnica de València in 2022 and her MSc from Delft University of Technology in 2024. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. at Delft University of Technology, working with the Bioelectronics section of the Microelectronics Department as well as the Computer Engineering section of the Quantum & Computer Engineering department. Her research focuses on the digital design of low-power machine learning accelerators for implantable brain-computer interfaces.
